RC Childcare Center

USD 378 Riley County's Daycare Center is for 3 and 4 year olds at Riley County Grade School. The center is open year-round. Our program director is KSDE certified in early childhood education and has experienced aides to assist with a curriculum-based preschool program. Students are to be 3 and 4 years old prior to August 31.

Hours will include 2 components: preschool and extended care. Extended care is 7 to 8 a.m. and 3:30 to 6 p.m. Preschool hours are 8 a.m. to 3:22 p.m.

The cost is $510 for preschool per month regardless of the number of days the child attends, an additional $50 for extended care for children enrolled in preschool, $110 for children in kindergarten and first grade, and $5 per minute beyond 6 p.m.

Included in the cost of the preschool, students are provided 2 snacks (or 3 for extended care). Breakfast and lunch are also provided by the school for a separate cost. Families are eligible to fill out a lunch application for free/reduced meal prices.
