On Monday, October 12th the USD #378 Board of Education moved to transfer Jared Larson to Head Principal at Riley County Grade School for the 2021-2022 school year to replace Teresa Grant who is retiring.  Mr. Larson attended Riley County Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade and is a 1997 graduate of Riley County High School.  Mr. Larson is in his 19th year in education.  He taught for 7 years in Inman, Kansas and then spent 10 years on post at Fort Riley where he taught for 9 years and then spent one year as Assistant Principal at Seitz Elementary School.  Mr. Larson is in his second year as Assistant Principal at Riley County Grade School.  Jared lives in Leonardville with his wife, Michaela, and their three children, Sophia, Micah and Elijah.
