The Kansas State Department of Education advised USD #378 that the USDA is covering the cost of meals for ALL STUDENTS through December 2020. This meant that each student could receive a free breakfast and lunch each school day. USD 378 put this into place on September 15, 2020. However, we recently were advised that we can go back to the first day of school.
There fore, we have gone back and changed each student meal from a charge to free starting August 20, 2020. When doing this process each family meal account received a credit back for any meal charged against their account. For high school students this does not include ala carte purchases nor a second breakfast. The high school students can receive free either a breakfast or the 2nd Chance Breakfast.
