
RCHS Student Council hosted Powder Puff and a Community Bonfire this evening. The Homecoming Parade is tomorrow at 2pm and Football will kickoff at 7pm!






The RCHS FBLA Club attended CyberCon at Emporia State today! Students learned about cybersecurity, business resources, and job opportunities in the workforce.


RCHS Culinary Classes have been learning about government food assistance programs and went to the Riley Food Pantry to see the services they provide for our community!

RCHS Volleyball traveled to Rossville tonight to take on the Dawgs! JV and C Team went 2-0. Varsity went 0-2
on the night. This Saturday C Team will play at Perry Lecompton and JV will play at Rock Creek!

It's Homecoming Week at RCHS!


JV Football hosted Sabetha tonight. The Bluejays won 38-8. JV will host Chapman next Monday at 6pm!


Varsity Volleyball competed in the Concordia Tournament today. The Falcons went 0-4 on the day. RCHS will travel to Rossville on Tuesday to take on the Dawgs at 5pm!



JV Volleyball took 4th place today at the Abilene Tournament!


RCHS Football traveled to Sabetha tonight. The Bluejays came out on top 27-6. The Falcons will host the Horton Chargers next Friday at 7pm for Homecoming!




RCHS Cross Country ran at Council Grove yesterday. The Boys Team placed 2nd and the Girls Team 3rd. Top medalists were: Anna 5th, Meredith 9th, Belle 26th, Owen 5th, Cody 10th and Jeter 15th. RCHS will host our home invitational on Saturday, October 7th in Leonardville at 9am!


Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for September, Collin Leikam-Tilton! Collin, a Junior, has a cumulative GPA of 4.0 and is currently a member of Tri-M, Key Club, Rhythm N Blue, and serves as the Vice President of the Junior Class. Here is what Ms. Huyett had to say about Collin: “Collin quietly takes on leadership by cleaning the room, putting pianos and chairs away without being asked. He volunteered to design the Rhythm N Blue shirts and put together the order form and website for everyone. He willingly comes in to practice music on his own!”
Mrs. Krohn also reported: “Collin is always incredibly positive and the first to help others. He is responsible, trustworthy, and always involved in whatever is happening around the school.”

RCHS Volleyball competed at Silver Lake tonight. Varsity and C Team went 0-2 and JV 2-0. Varsity will travel to Concordia this Saturday and JV will play at Abilene. Both tournaments start at 9am!





JV Football traveled to Royal Valley tonight. The Panthers beat the Falcons 42-8. JV Football will host Sabetha next Monday at 6pm!



Yesterday Marching Band and Cheer performed at the Keats Fall Festival Parade! Marching Band performed their halftime show and stand tunes for the crowd, and the Jazz Band held their debut performance! We love getting to perform in our communities!





Our 8th grade girls took 3rd place today in the Silver Lake tournament! 7th took 4th on their side of the bracket, 8 teams from 6a to 2a in competition today. Nice work Falcons!


RCHS Cross Country ran at Rim Rock today! With 241 girl runners and 291 boy runners in the Crimson Division, top placers were: Anna 44th, Meredith 68th, Belle 170th, Owen 45th, Cody 122nd, and Jeter 164th! The Falcons will run on Thursday at Council Grove at 4pm!





Varsity Volleyball competed at Wamego today. The Falcons went 0-4 on the day and will travel to Silver Lake on Tuesday to take on the Eagles!


RCHS Football hosted Royal Valley tonight. The Falcons won 20-13!
