Our middle school scholar's bowl team concluded their season last night in an eventful evening at Royal Valley. 8th grade placed 3rd and 7th grade placed 5th in our new 12 team Big East league. Either grade has won multiple meets this year, including both our 7th and 8th grade winning the first scholar's bowl meet Riley County has hosted in some time. Our new league format has them attending 2 meets per week, and a total of 5-6 before the league tournament, so these kids and their sponsor Mrs. Fink have put in a lot of work this last month. Great work Falcons! We are excited to see what these 8th graders can bring to the high school team next year, and the 7th graders will do as 8th graders next year.
