Our newest bus arrived in August. Over $22.000 of its purchase was paid for by a grant from the state of Kansas. It is out of an EPA fund to replace older diesel engines with cleaner burning ones. This is our third gasoline powered bus. These buses save the district in maintenance and repair cost. One of the requirements of the grant was the destruction and scrapping of the old bus. This was done by McDonald Salvage. The students and driver enjoy the new bus.

The grade school looks a little different this year at lunch time. TV trays fill the cafeteria room to help with social distancing.
