
Falcon fans, your 7th grade boys are Big East League Champions! 7th grade boys took down previously unbeaten St Marys 45-40 in the final round of the league tournament. 8th graders won both of their games in dominating fashion tonight at Rossville to finish 5th overall in the Big East League. Way to go Falcons!

Falcon Basketball teams garner victories over Wabaunsee tonight. Girls Varsity wins a close one 22-20 and the Boys team wins 56-53. Way to go Falcons!









Falcon fans, our middle school girls wrestling team went out with a bang at the first BigEast League tournament today at Perry Lecompton. Reagan Wege, Annabele Burton, and Kinsey Loecker all are league champions, with Ellie Hanson taking home second. What a great day for the ladies! A big thank you to Coach Maynard and Coach England for working with our girls and our parents for making this inaugural girls wrestling season a solid statement in our new league. Way to go Falcons!




Our 7th grade boys take down Silver Lake tonight 39-35 to advance to the league championship on Thursday. We will play St. Marys at roughly 6:30 for the league title. 8th grade games are already set snd will start at 4:30 at Rossville Thursday. Way to go Falcons!


*****MS boys basketball parents/patrons***** the first day of the BigEast league tournament is in the books. 7th grade won their first game and will face Silver Lake at roughly 5:30 Monday at Riley County. 8th grade went 1-1 on the day and will face Rossville at 4:30 on Thursday at Rossville.

Congratulations to the RCHS Chess Team for their 5th place finish in Hutchinson today. Individually, Brett Laurie finished 2nd and Sam Frese finished 9th. Way to go Falcons!


Forensics traveled to Rock Creek today, Chloe Graham and Drake Otto placed 1st in Impromptu Duet Acting and qualified for State!

Falcons Basketball teams travelled to Hiawatha tonight to face the Red Hawks. The varsity girls won a nail biter 32-30. The boys ended the evening falling short in a tough game. Go Falcons!









***MS boys basketball parents/patrons*** The boys brackets for tomorrow's games at RIley County and Rossville are set. The 7th graders play here at Riley County, roughly at noon for one game, and 8th graders play at Rossville at 9:00am with the possibility of playing twice. GO FALCONS!

Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for January, Chance Martin.
Chance, 12th Grader, has a cumulative GPA of 3.78 and is currently a member of Key Club, the Chess and golf team. He is also a member of the Wrestling and Golf teams.
Here is what Miss Netterman had to say:
“Chance is always one of the first people I see each day and is always sharing a kind morning greeting! It has been a joy watching him strengthen and grow as a young adult. He challenges himself to join new clubs and activities, and there is not a person that Chance is not kind to or willing to help!

Falcon basketball faced off against Silver Lake this evening at RCHS. The varsity girls won and the boys fall in a tough game to end the night.
At the halftime of the boys game, fans were entertained by the mini-dance performance. Way to go Falcons!
