The January Glavan Ford Student-Athlete of the Month is MaKenna Wamsher. MaKenna is the daughter of Dana and Jason Walsh; she has a GPA of 3.73 and participates in Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball teams. Makenna is a SADD, FCA, FCCLA, Key, and Pep Club member. MaKenna plans to attend college to study nursing. Here is what her coaches had to say: “MaKenna has stepped up her senior season to be a great leader for our basketball team. Many times, she has been given the responsibility of defending our opponent’s best player, and she has taken great pride in that. Her determination on defense has played a vital role in our teams’ success so far this season. She has also dedicated additional time after practice to put in extra work to develop her game.” Kelsey Nelson, RCHS Girls Basketball Coach.
