Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for August, Tanner Rhoton. Tanner, 11th Grade, has a cumulative GPA of 3.95 and is currently a member of Key Club and FCA. He is a member of the cross country and wrestling team. Go Falcons!

The Rural Riley County Foundation is at Riley County High School Thursday and Friday, August 28th and 29th, for the annual match day. The match day provides financial support opportunities for a variety of Riley County groups. Come in and contribute to our community.

RCHS hosted a Club Fair today in order to promote student involvement in the school. Students who participate in clubs and activities are more academically and socially successful! Go Falcons!

RCHS held the year's first Pep Rally this morning. It is going to be a great year. Go Falcons!

RCHS Key Club will have a carwash on Saturday, August 16th at the O'Reilly Auto Shop in Manhattan. Come out and support the Falcon Key Club!

The RCHS Band concluded this year's band camp with a performance Friday evening in the gym. The band will be performing at the Leonardville Hullabaloo on Saturday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. Go Falcons!

***REMINDER*** All physicals are due to the appropriate school office PRIOR to your student practicing. The first day of practice is officially 2 weeks from today. Please make plans to get a sports physical for all 7-12 athletes participating in school athletics if you have not already. Once completed, they can be turned into the secretaries at either office/school building.

Included is the sports physical form directly from the home page of our district website. Please cross reference this form with the forms you receive at the health clinic you have your physical completed at, as there are likely a few additional forms the health clinic will not provide.
