Varsity Baseball and Softball competed at Chapman tonight. Softball went 0-2 and Baseball went 1-1 on the night. Both JV Baseball and JV Softball will play at Chapman on Monday at 4:30!

Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for March, Alexzandra Anderson!
Alexzandra, a 10th Grader, has a cumulative GPA of 3.95 and is currently a member of the Band, FFA, Key Club, Book Club, Tri-M, and currently serves as President of the Sophomore Class. She is also a member of the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams.
Here is what Mrs. Krohn has to say about Alexzandra: "I can’t say enough great things about Alexzandra! Alexzandra makes our school a positive place to be! She has an upbeat attitude, is respectful, and the first to take on leadership roles. She is involved in so much and still finds time to stay on top of her work and interact positively with her classmates and friends."
Mrs. Lloyd also added, "Alexzandra positively helps everyone around her and is a model student at Riley County!" Congratulations Alexzandra!

JV Softball hosted Abilene tonight. The Cowgirls made a clean sweep winning both games. Varsity Softball will travel to Chapman on Thursday to take on the Irish, games start at 4:30!

RCHS students attended Reality U today at Blue Valley High School. Reality U is an interactive financial literacy event designed to help students understand personal finance, employment and real life scenarios. Thank you to BVHS for hosting this event!
In honor of Music In Our Schools Month, the Riley County Music Department hosted a Mass Band Day today. Band Students in grades 5th-12th participated in a clinic and hosted a community concert. Thank you to Director of Bands, Erin Lloyd and all who helped make today a success!

Good morning Riley County Patrons,
Family Physicians will graciously be providing free sports physicals and well-child checks through their clinic in Riley. Anyone is eligible, and the free services are provided from May 1st through September 30th of this year. Other Family Physicians locations are also providing physicals and well child checks.
Note, all physicals from May 1st on will count towards the next school year for all middle school and high school sports. There is an additional concussion form and KSHSAA eligibility form required to be signed also for 7-12 school sports, which is located on the USD378 website or available through the school offices.
