FBLA took a trip today to tour local business within the Manhattan community. The trip was put on by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. The students got to meet and interact with local entrepreneurs all throughout the day.
RCHS Varsity Baseball went 0-2 against Abilene tonight. Falcons played hard but couldn't overcome the hitting of the cowboys.
The Riley County Varsity Softball team went 0-2 against Abilene tonight. The JV went 1-1 against Abilene.
The Riley County Golf team was at Rock Hills today.
Varsity finished 2nd with a score of 316. The scoring team was:

Harvey Lister finished 6th overall with a score of 72.

We are monitoring the possibility of some weather approaching our area this afternoon/evening. Right now they are saying a storm could be in our area around 5PM. That was our scheduled end time to practice, however we can and will have our athletes done a little earlier today with this chance of weather. We will be done by 4:45 today and if you are able we are encouraging you to try and be there by 4:45-4:50 for pick up. If weather does become an issue we will take the kids inside to the old gym.

RCHS vocal students performed at the State Solo and Ensemble on Saturday, April 26th. All of the students did a fantastic job, especially the Treble Choir receiving a perfect score. Congratulations Falcons!

Due to field conditions, today's Varsity Baseball game will move from Leonardville to Chapman this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

The Council Grove Track Meet scheduled for today has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. As a result, all athletes will go to the Royal Valley meet on Tuesday, with a few possibly going to Clay Center.
The JV Baseball game scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, April 25, 2025, has been canceled.
RCHS will be holding the annual Awards Night on May 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the North Gym. We will be celebrating our students' success! Go Falcons!

RCHS Varsity Softball fell in two games to Silver Lake this evening. The Falcons fought hard, but lost to a solid Eagle team.

The baseball/softball games against Silver Lake, originally scheduled for Thursday, April 24th, have been moved to today, April 22nd.
All games will be played at home. The games were moved up due to potential weather on Thursday. Game times will be 4:30 p.m.

Riley County's golf team was at Council Grove today. Harvey finished 7th and had the longest putt at 13’ 4”. Jack won closest to the pin with 26”. We struggled a bit today on grass greens.
