RCHS Student Council and the RCMS Leadership Class recently co-sponsored the Falcon Food Drive. Together both buildings collected over 2380 items to donate to the Food Pantry of Northern Riley County. Thank you to all students and staff who donated!

During October, the schools were served several new food menu items. Denver Bagel, Salisbury Steak, Chicken Wraps, and Fiestada Pizza were some of the new products. Most of the students were thrilled to see new items on the menu. Pictured are the Chicken Wrap and Denver Bagel.
RCHS Cheer competed today at the Washburn Rural Spirit Showdown. The team earned a 2 Rating on their performance routine and game day routine!
RCHS Football traveled to Sabetha tonight. The Bluejays beat the Falcons 48-13.
Our students got a Friday treat today! A big thank you to our PTO, the TV’s they purchased the grade school are up and running in our cafeteria! Our students really are enjoying watching this documentary on Oceans today.
The RCHS Jazz Band played at the McPherson College Jazz Festival today and earned a 1/Superior rating! Congratulations Falcons!
Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for October, Gabe Tross!
Gabe, a Senior, has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.46, is currently a member of Key Club, and helps run the Falcon Grounds Coffee Shop for the Career Connections Class.
Here is what Mrs.Taylor had to say: “I really admire Gabe! He has a lot going on with graduating at Semester and he still puts forth effort to make sure he is on time for work in the mornings and staying on top of all of his classes with high academic marks. This young man is so kind, helpful, thoughtful, and just a good all-around guy. I appreciate him!”

The RCHS Girls Cross Country team placed 4th at the 3A State Meet today in Lawrence! Owen Miesner individually placed 35th in the 3A Boys race. Congratulations Falcons!
RCHS Football traveled to Silver Lake tonight. The Falcons beat the Eagles 23-21 and advance to the next round!
Good Luck to the RCHS Cross Country team! The Falcons will run tomorrow in the 3A State Championship Races at Rim Rock. The girls race will start at 10am and the boys will run at 11:45am. Go Falcons!

The RCHS Band performed today at the High Plains Marching Festival at Fort Hays State. The Marching Falcons competed with their performance of Living in the Danger Zone!

RCHS Volleyball competed at Sub-State in Minneapolis today. The Falcons fall to Beloit in the first round.
The RCHS Girls Cross Country team took 1st place at Regionals today! The team punched their ticket to the 3A State Meet next Saturday in Lawrence. Owen Miesner placed 7th in the boys race and individually qualified for the State Meet. Congratulations Falcons!
