We had a great day for middle school athletics! Cross country had a strong showing at league across the board, with the highest placer being Caden Kinsey taking 3rd in the 7th grade boys division. The day was polished off with a win against Nemaha Central from 7a, 8b, and 8a volleyball and MS football beat NC 8-6. Way to go Falcons!

Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for August, Mara Schardein. Mara, 12th Grade, has a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and is currently a member of Pep Club, Key Club. She is also a member of the Riley County High School softball team. Here is what Miss Netterman had to say: Mara is a student who is consistently giving back to her community and school. She is an active participant in many activities, classes, and sports. I love having her as a student again, for the third time! I can see so much growth in her and she is a joy to be around! Congratulations again to Mara.
