
The RCHS Music Theatre Workshop performed the comedic play When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors on Saturday. Congratulations on a fantastic performance!



RCHS had 3 choral ensembles and 13 soloists compete at Regionals today. Rhythm n Blue, Treble Ensemble, and 9 soloists earned 1 Outstanding Ratings and will be moving on to the State contest. Congratulations to all performers!




The RCHS Choir held their Spring Concert this evening. Good Luck to all singers at Regionals this Saturday!





RCHS alumni Frank VanBebber visited consumer math today to discuss the process of purchasing a vehicle with students. He also brought an electric powered vehicle to show students!




RCHS hosted the Mid-East League Art Judging today. Award winning pieces will be on display this Sunday for public viewing from 1pm-4pm at the Iron Clad in Wamego. League Medals will be awarded at the League Art Workshop Day on April 19th!






JV Baseball went 1-1 at Wabaunsee last night. Tonight Varsity hosted the Chargers and also went 1-1 on the night. JV will play at Republic County this Friday at 4pm!

Riley County High School Student Council hosted a Pickleball Tournament today! The winners were:
Runner Up in Silver Bracket - Ben White and Dallas Henton
1st Place in Silver Bracket - Crighton McCoy and Trent Webber
GOLD BRACKET:
4th Place - CJ Rignell and Lela Spitler
3rd Place - Noah Frese and Stewart Bishop
2nd Place - Eli Harmison and Jace Woodard
1st Place - Avery Higgins and Gracie Scofield







The RCHS Intro to Ag class grew soybeans for the "K-State Willie and the Beanstalk" contest. Students had to use scientific methods to document their soybean growth. All soybeans were taken on campus for final judging!


RCHS FFA attended the North Central District FFA banquet this week. The Chapter was awarded a National Chapter Award for completing activities in all areas of the FFA Mission. Member Jacob Wendland was also selected to be a district officer next school year. Congratulations!




Congratulations to Senior Bryce Beckman! Bryce has signed to attend North Central Kansas Technical College next year in Beloit!


Congratulations to the soloists who performed last night at the Voice Recital. Good luck at Regional Contest next Saturday!


Varsity Softball competed at Rossville tonight. The Falcons went 0-2 on the night. JV will play at Rossville this Thursday at 4:30.


JV Baseball and Softball hosted Chapman tonight. Baseball went 0-2 on the night and Softball 2-0. Varsity Baseball and Softball will travel to Rossville tomorrow to take on the Dawgs! Games start at 4:30!

RCHS FFA held their annual Showcase and Dinner tonight. Thank you to all supporters of the FFA Showcase!




The RCHS Production of Cinderella was a success! Tomorrow night the curtain opens at 7pm!


Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for March, Lukas Kulp! Lukas, a Senior, has a cumulative GPA of 3.5. He is a member of FFA, FCA, and FBLA. He is also a member of the football team and baseball team. Here is what Mrs. Taylor had to say about Lukas: “Lukas is the epitome of a polite, kind, and caring young man. He is always willing to help where needed. Kindness is ingrained in his architecture. When he is smiling, I guarantee you are smiling in return! What a special young man!”
Mr. Willimon also added: “Lukas is a tremendous young man, who is committed to making Riley County High School a better place. Lukas is not the most vocal leader, but he has been a very consistent model of positive behavior to the student body during his four years of high school.”
