
RCHS Volleyball hosted Marysville and Rock Creek last night. Varsity and C Team went 0-2 on the night and JV 1-1. The Falcons will travel next Thursday to compete at Rossville at 5pm!

It's that time again! Our annual Back to School Horse Ride was in full swing this morning, featuring students of RCGS and RCHS. We love our small towns!





JV Volleyball took 3rd place at the Perry-Lecompton Tournament today! The girls will be back in action at home on Tuesday!


Varsity Volleyball competed in the Marysville Tournament today. The Falcons went 0-4 on the day and will play at home on Tuesday!





The RCHS Volleyball team held their annual Fall Preview this evening. The Falcons will host Chapman and Wabaunsee next Tuesday in their season opener. First serve at 4:30!



Due to the extreme heat the RCHS Football team will not attend the Jamboree in Concordia on Friday, August 25th. The Falcons will travel to Silver Lake next Friday to take on the Eagles in their season opener. Kickoff at 7pm. Go Falcons!


Blue Crew held a watermelon feed for the fall athletic teams today at RCHS! A special thank you to Fork In The Road Market for donating the watermelon!

We are officially canceling the MS boys football scrimmage for Fall Preview tomorrow due to the extreme heat and safety of our students and patrons. The forecasted temperature before the heat index is anywhere from 101-103* at 6-7:00.
Volleyball will still scrimmage tomorrow at 4:30 for MS, and 5:30 for HS in the North gym at the high school. High school football's Jamboree at Concordia Friday night is still TBD.
Our football boys will practice tomorrow morning again, and Friday morning as well. Monday we will open practice to the public for anyone who would like to attend is welcome. Cheer will not attend Monday, and will have their first performance and cheer at the first football game next Thursday. Coach Maynard will communicate more details for football, and Coach Anderson will communicate more details for cheer. .

On Thursday, August 17th we will welcome all incoming freshmen and new students to Riley County High School! Students will go through an orientation day where they will meet staff, attend classes, and explore extracurricular opportunities. Normal bus routes will run. School day will be 8:05-3:22.


A reminder to all RCHS students interested in taking courses from MATC this year. A Representative from MATC will be at RCHS on Wednesday from 6 to 7pm in the cafeteria to help students enroll and answer any questions. Be sure to stop by and get your paperwork completed!
