Congratulations to the RCHS Student of the Month for February, Gus Smith! Gus, a Senior, has a cumulative GPA of 3.1 and participates in FFA, Band, Golf, and Trap Shooting. Gus also serves as a Student Aide in the Ag and Wood Shops. Here is what Ms. Netterman had to say: "There is never a dull moment with Gus in my class! He consistently makes our learning environment an upbeat and positive place to be. His willingness to help others, both faculty and staff, is consistent and unmatched! Gus is strong willed and passionate about the activities and clubs he is involved in." Ms. Meadows also added: "Gus is always hardworking and always willing to help others. He takes pride in his work and making RCHS a better place. He is kind, respectful, trustworthy, and has a great sense of humor. Gus is not in any of my art classes but he comes in to work and learn "art" to apply to his projects in other subjects. He even helped me with my car when the weather was bad. He does a lot for others even when he doesn't have to!" Congratulations Gus!
