The baseball/softball games against Silver Lake, originally scheduled for Thursday, April 24th, have been moved to today, April 22nd.
All games will be played at home. The games were moved up due to potential weather on Thursday. Game times will be 4:30 p.m.

RCHS Key Club and NHS students volunteered for the PTO Morale Booster in conjunction with Earth Day! Way to go Falcons!










Riley County's golf team was at Council Grove today. Harvey finished 7th and had the longest putt at 13’ 4”. Jack won closest to the pin with 26”. We struggled a bit today on grass greens.






The Riley County golf team competed at Chase County.
Team finished 1st with a score of 325
Jw Lister finished 1st with a 73
Harvey Lister finished 2nd with 76
Hayden Wilburn finished with a 87 and Easton Blair finished with a 89 to round out the varsity scorers

Dawson Yoder finished 2nd with 46
Brianna Restrepo finished 4th with 49 and a tie breaking hole
Trevor Allison finished 5th with a 49










The boys baseball team went 2-0 against Royal Valley tonight.






The girls softball team went 1-1 tonight at Royal Valley.

RCHS JV Softball split with St. Mary's this evening, falling in the first game 5-11 and winning the second game 19-4. Way to go Falcons!





Falcon baseball was in action against St. Marys tonight. They went 0-2.






Varsity Softball picked up two wins (7-3 and 13-2) this evening over St. Mary's. Way to go Falcons!





Senator Starnes visited Riley County High School this morning to deliver a tribute and congratulate the Falcon Chess team for their 3A State Championship season. Congratulations to the team!

On April 9th, Kaileb Hatch broke the 132-pound weight class hang clean record at Riley County High School with a clean of 225 pounds breaking the previously held record set in 1999 by 10 pounds. Kaileb is a sophomore at Riley County High School who participates in football, basketball, and baseball. Congratulations Kaileb!

RCHS Falcons participated in the NHS Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt this evening. Eggs contained candy and prizes. This was a fundraiser for NHS to promote student/community activities.






On Saturday, 3 ensembles and 10 vocal soloists attended Regionals Solo and Small Ensemble. We walked away with 3 ensemble I's, and 9 Solo I's. The list is attached. We will be attending State Solo and Small Ensemble on the 26th of this month. If you see them in the hallway, please congratulate them!
Today, RCHS Concert Choir attended the State Large Group in Concordia. They received a 1-I, and 2-II. The average rating is what is received, so RCHS got a II. All of the participants sang well and deserve praise on their performance, with an excellent solo in one of the pieces from Annelise Yoder. Congratulations Falcons!




The Riley County FFA competed in the Small Gas Engines competition hosted at Abilene. The competition consisted of tool identification, engine component identification, small gas engine theory, and engine troubleshooting. The team was finished in 3rd place. Individual placers were Martin Loecker 3rd, Dillan Gocken 5th, Carson Nemechek 8th, Kyson Yoder 11th, and Harvey Lister. Way to go Falcons!


The Riley County FFA Ag Welding competed at the State Welding competition hosted by Fort Hays Tech North Central at Beloit.
