Dalton Engle, a Financial Advisor with Amicus Wealth Partners and 2018 Riley County Alumni, spoke with Mrs. Taylor’s Consumer Math class on Wednesday about investing, how to get started investing, and the power of compounding interest over time.


Sub-State Basketball Tournaments kickoff next week! The RCHS Girls Basketball Team will host Sabetha on Monday at 6pm. The Boys will travel to Atchison County on Tuesday, tipoff at 6pm. KSHSAA prices will be $8 for Adults and $6 for students K-12. Good Luck Falcons!

RCHS Basketball hosted Mission Valley tonight. JV Boys, JV Girls, C Team Girls, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys all picked up a win. C Team Boys fall to the Vikings. The Falcons will host St.Marys on Thursday for Senior Night, tip-off at 4:30!




The RCHS Boys Wrestling team competed this weekend at the 321A Regional Wrestling Tournament in Beloit. In a tough Regional, the Falcons finished in 16th place as a team! Congratulations on a great season!

Your Riley County 8th grade boys are league champions! 7th grade also finishes 2nd in the league tournament behind a very good Rossville team. Congratulations to our players, coaches, and parents on a great season!

Attention JH Boys BB Patrons*** The last day of the MEL league tournament is tomorrow starting at 9:00am same as last week. It was on our calendar for 5:00pm, which is the incorrect time. Please note, first games start at 9:00am, with Riley County 7th grade playing in games 1 and 4, and 8th grade playing in games 3 and 5.

The RCHS FFA Chapter is sponsoring a Staff Welding Contest. Faculty members were trained by students and are making their welds this week to enter into the contest. Stay tuned as judging and results will be announced next week during National FFA week!




RCHS Basketball made a clean sweep at Council Grove tonight! All teams picked up a win over the Braves. The Falcons will travel to Rossville on Friday to take on the Dawgs, tip-off at 4:30!

Our 4 person team finished overall 2nd place. Sam Freese finished 1st individually, Brett Laurie 6th, Drake Otto 11th, and Dane Corral took 16th.

RCHS Wrestler Makayla Truesdale competed today in the 4-1A Girls Regional Wrestling Tournament at Rossville. Makayla went 1-2 on the day and ended her Freshman season with a 12-6 overall record!




RCHS Students and Staff participated in Spirit Week this week! The Junior Class was named the overall Spirit winners! Mrs. Lloyd's Seminar won the Shopping Cart contest! Thank you to all participants for a great week at RCHS!
